One of the big challenges with outbound sales emails is making sure you follow up with prospects as fast as possible. The faster your team replies to interested prospects, the higher the likelihood those emails will turn into opportunities.
Today, in addition to having their entire inbox annotated automatically by LeadGenius, customers that use LeadGenius’ outreach tool will receive real-time alerts when prospects respond positively or negatively to an outbound email. LeadGenius uses machine learning to analyze the semantics of each message that land in your inbox to send you alerts about any positive or negative replies.
In sales, response time matters:
- Salespeople have 100 times greater chance of making a successful contact with a lead within five minutes of an inquiry, as opposed to 30 minutes. That same lead was 21 times more likely to enter the sales process if contacted within 5 minutes – AllBusiness
- The odds of qualifying a lead dropped 21x if the first contact is made 30 minutes after lead submission. – Forbes
- Firms that tried to contact potential customers within an hour of receiving a query were nearly 7 times as likely to qualify the lead as those that tried to contact the customer even an hour later—and more than 60 times as likely as companies that waited 24 hours or longer. – HBR
How does this work?
LeadGenius’ technology looks at the content of each response and determines whether that response is positive, negative, or something else (like a referral, an automated reply, etc.).
If for some reason one of the replies needs extra verification, LeadGenius has a real person look at the email and determine how it should be annotated. This extra layer of human intelligence reduces error-rate and helps train LeadGenius’s software to become more and more accurate.
When LeadGenius labels a response in your inbox, we notify the right person on your team with a direct link to the particular email thread in the LeadGenius app. If you are interested in the total number of different types of responses (positives, negatives, referrals, auto-replies, etc.), you can find in-depth analytics in the stats panel, accessible on the left-hand nav.
It’s easy to select, add, or remove different users on your account to receive notifications. To modify, simply go into your Outreach tab and select “Settings” to adjust your notifications preferences.
LeadGenius will be releasing many more customer-facing machine learning features soon — we look forward to sharing those with you!
In the meantime, we’d love your feedback about automatic annotation and alerts.
